When it comes to photography, Buckinghamshire has something for everyone. Urban and street photographers can get their fill from, the sprawling London over spill of reading to the sleek designs of the new town of Milton Keynes. Historical towns like Wolverton, the first railway town, offer some strikingly ordered opportunities with its rows of Victorian terraces. And the Market town of Aylesbury offers some excellent chances to try your hand at street photography.

But it's not all about the urban setting; those interested in photography at events would do well to check out the World War II re-enactments at Bletchley Park (home of the code breakers), for some interesting period photos. The historical pancake race at Olney, makes for a different type of event to try your hand at, and is often found to have some interesting characters enter the race. Or for a more formal event the Bucks county show in High Wycombe can be enjoyed, and will be sure to offer something different for the photographer.

If sporting events are more your thing to photograph, then Buckinghamshire has something to cater for all; the yearly regatta at Dorney lake offers some excellent opportunities to photograph rowing at close quarters, and Golfing events at the world famous Woburn golf course may be photographable, to those in the know at least. Or visit one of the many grass roots football leagues that play all over the county, on a Saturday or Sunday, for a more amateur feel.

Landscape Photographers are covered too, from the many vistas viewable from along the Chilterns to the numerous windmills dotted around the county, country houses, or gothic temples such as those at Stowe offer some interesting opportunities.

For wildlife photographers, there are plenty of opportunities as well, from the many woodland sites, such as Wendover, to the many lakes and nature reserves like Collage Lake, or Dorney, as well as countless rural areas full of natural wildlife.

For those of us who live in buckinghamshire, not just visiting, yet are interested in photography, there are plenty of camera clubs on offer, in plenty of locations around the county. They are well worth joining for the social aspocts of photography. There are also plenty of studios available for hire so there really is soemthing for everyone.

Or you may have come to this page looking for a photographer to perform a service for you, well we have hundreds of wedding photographers, portrait phototographers, event photographers and all manner of other professional photographers listed below.
