You will notice that there is no introduction to this section yet.
It is our aim fill this gap with an introduction from a local photographer [or someone who is a frequent visiting photographer] for every one of the geographical pages on fatphotographer.net.
As a photographer myself I prefer to read something written by someone who knows the area well and can offer advice on the area from an insider's point of view. They usually know the best locations, not just the ones that first time or overseas visitors usually visit or that are well known outside of the area, and can often offer hidden gems.
Each introduction carries the e-mail and website address of the contributor so that photographers can get in touch with them if, for example, they are planning a trip [unless the contributor is unable to do this]. This can also bring you extra traffic to your business etc from those seeking the services of a photographer.
Please get in touch if you feel you can contribute an introduction to this page - you don't have to be an expert; I'm not!
Our sister sites, Fatbirder.com or Fatfisherman.com are regularly used by hundreds of thousands of birdwatchers/anglers when planning overseas trips or activities closer to home. Fatbirder.com gets over four million hits a month and has a high Google rating because it is an information resource that is both comprehensive and trusted, fatfisherman.com is fast approaching the same.
Help us make Fatphotographer.net the first point of reference for anything photographic anywhere in the world!

Seascape Photographer - Steen Doessing
Born and raised in Denmark, I grew up surrounded by water. The ocean, lakes and rivers were everywhere I looked. My senses were filled with the smell, sound and the visual impression of water. Water to me represents life and the equanimity and power of nature. Water is where I came from. My fascination with water is never ending. I can sit on the shoreline for hours without taking a single photograph and just take in the sea.

Welcome to Digi-birding. This site contains digital pictures - mostly of birds - taken by Jens Eriksen. Some of the pictures were shot by digiscoping technique (a combination of a Nikon Coolpix digital camera and a Leica APO-TELEVID spottingscope), but digital SLR has taken over as my favourite equipment...
