Photographic organisations come in many shapes and forms from the humble camera club or photographic society linking local photographers to each other and helping them meet likeminded individuals in their locality, to the major societies designed to promote photographers in specialist fields. Some are international others more localised; if they exist we hope to list them here. For ease in locating the right camera club links to local camera clubs will be found on the geographical pages related to their location rather than here (lets be honest there are a lot, and I doubt any of you would want to scroll through thousands of clubs to find the one you are after)

If you are searching for a specific type of photographer then visiting the website of the national/international body or organisation for that genre, such as the SWPP for portrait and wedding photographers, may well be a place to find one (that is of course if you can?t find them here first). They will often have links to local individuals who can help, or advice on how to choose your photographer.

If you are a photographer and are simply looking for the group that best suits your style or genre or an organisation you wish to be affiliated with (or even your disability or sexual orientation) then these pages will help you as well. We list both professional and amateur societies, both on a national and international scale on this page (again many localised groups will also be found on the geographical pages, via our menus to the left).

As always with Fatphotographer if you see we have missed a particular photographic organisation, or group, please get in touch via the feedback forms and let us know. We really appreciate the help.

If you are a photographic organisation and wish us to review your membership (and get an extra plug via our reviews area) we are more than happy to, please contact us via the feedback link at the top of this or any site page.
